Special Supporters

June 2014 — Lena and Hunter Barr of Hennepin each came out to visit the shelter and donate a bag of cat food.  These siblings are generous, big-hearted, animal lovers.

April 2014 — A great big THANK YOU goes out to this very special young man, Nathaniel Thurlby. Nathaniel and his aunt came out today and dropped off some supplies he collected. He wanted to take a picture for his own Facebook page to show people that if he can help, others can too. Mary suggested he hold our adorable puppy Owen, but Nathaniel had another idea and asked these two pretty girls to pose with him.
This is the second time they’ve come out over the last few weeks. Nathaniel’s aunt told us he likes to tell people he “works for the poor puppies”. We so appreciate his efforts. Thank you Nathaniel!!!!

January 2014 — Thanks goes out to Char’s Grooming Post for their generous donation! Pictured are Amanda & Char with volunteer Jamie.

December 2013

Huge thank you to this special guy, Racer Schmeckpeper, who came out with his parents Dana and Dustin with a donation. Racer’s grandma gave him $50 for Easter, with the challenge to “grow” the money and donate it to the charity of his choice at Christmas. Racer “grew” his $50 by setting up a “Cuss Jar” in his house. Thanks to his mom’s potty mouth, Racer donated $150 to Pet Project!
You’re an awesome kid Racer! Thank you so much for helping our furry residents!!!!

May 2013 — Lillian came out to the shelter and donated 87 pounds of cat and dog food, which people had given to her in lieu of birthday presents. What a lovely young lady she is. Thank you Lillian!!!!

6/2/12 — Here are  a few of our younger volunteers with Livvy the pittie.  These kids do a great job and are such a big help.  It is wonderful to see these kids volunteering their time and effort, expecting nothing in return, and having FUN doing it!

5/25/12 — Thank you to Amy Shepherd and the Jefferson School student council who raised money and collected supplies to donate to Pet Project.  We cannot do what we do without such generous support!
